Taking the online connections and creating "offline" relationships.

Today was our monthly meetup at Five Guys (@five_guys) in Dublin.  We started this "tradition" about six months ago.  You'll see me tweet about it, so you are more than welcome to join us.

It was great to meet some new people like Eric Ralph (@EricRalph).  If you're not familiar, he is the founder of Milton (www.yourmilton.com), an web-based application to run a service-based business.  What a great person, and a great mind.

Our guest list included the following: (in no certain order)

Jim Canterucci (@Canterucci)
Nate Riggs (@nateriggs)
Eric Leslie (@beonscene)
Tyler Durbin (@TylerDurbin)
Justin Bryant (@jml_bryant)
Andi Sie (@andisie)
Alvin Borromeo (@wyliemac)

One of my goals for social media as a person, and a business owner is to take the online connections and turn them into "offline" relationships.  I've met a lot of talented and interesting people over the last year or so by doing this; many of whom I now call my close friends.  If you are not doing so, I would highly recommend it.  Just my 2 cents.

I will do that Andrew. I actually do have something that I'd like to discuss with you. Let's schedule a call for sometime soon.
